Garlic rain and snow

Brace for impact?! Processors of garlic in China are worried about the outlook for the new crop in 2022.

First of all, planting of garlic was delayed due to heavy rains; it was done 1 month later than usual. More worrying however is that soon after planting the growing area was hit by snow. These conditions will very likely have an impact on the yield of the crop next year, also the new crop most likely will start later than normal.

Buyers of dehydrated Chinese garlic products should carefully check their requirements and take the necessary action.
